As you may or may not have seen yet, one of our own was featured in an article for the latest SSA magazine. Pierre’s achievements were showcased in the 2026 1-26 National Championships in Hinckley, IL. The Windy City Soaring Association hosted the championship from May 13 to May 20, 2026. Pierre scored 14/22 with a total of 1619 points overall!
A message from the pilot himself “ If you've ever thought about checking out a 1-26 glider contest (maybe first as crew), Region 4 at MASA is happening nearby this October and they should have a few 1-26 competing.”... 09/28/26 —
